The attacker opened fire on several of Borges’ classmates and the young man, aware of the danger, locked himself and other students in a classroom to avoid the gunman.
The killer tried to enter the room but Anthony blocked the door to prevent him from entering. The attacker, a former student of the school, shot several times, hitting Anthony with five bullets in the back and limbs. Thanks to his courage, his classmates escaped the attack unharmed.
Despite his very serious injuries, fortunately he survived and made a full recovery
