DON’T DIE WITH YOUR DEAD.

Did you know that when you mourn your dead, you mourn for yourself and not for them?

You cry because you’ve “lost them,” because you don’t HAVE THEM by your side. You think everything ends with death. And you think they’re NO longer here.

So if your dead are no longer there, where are they?

If they have left, or are now somewhere else, is that place better than this one?

Yes, that place is definitely better than this one, so why are you grieving for its departure?

When you have finished accepting that they are “NOT here anymore,” but are still somewhere even better than this one, because where they are they are no longer sick or suffering.

Then you will stop mourning them and will recover them in your memory so that they continue to accompany you with the joy of everything you have experienced.

If you really loved them, love them AGAIN, and this time with greater strength, with greater purity, with greater dedication.

Today, there will be no more reproaches of any kind.

Only LOVE will be the essence between you, between us, between them.

I respect your pain, and your way of expressing it. I know you cry and will cry inconsolably.

But…Today I tell you:

Don’t die with your dead.

Don’t die with your dead. Honor them by living your life as they would have wanted you to. Let them transcend. And you live on.
