Here’s a photo of my sister Shelly. A year ago, she got breast cancer and had surgery to remove her breast. She thought she’d be okay after that, and for a year, things seemed fine. But a few weeks back, she started feeling really sick and went to the hospital. The doctor saw spots on her lungs and set up a visit with a cancer specialist for a test. She was waiting for that call when, a few days later, she had to rush back to the hospital with a terrible headache and legs that wouldn’t work. Turns out, she had a tumor in her brain, and they sent her to another hospital for emergency surgery. They took it out, but after she got home, they called and said she has cancer in her lungs and brain that can’t be cured. She’s been through so much already—please, everyone, keep her in your prayers. I’d really appreciate it.
