I witnessed something truly amazing at the airport and wanted to share it with you.
A young military man named Michael (his full name was on his backpack) was about to board his flight when a stranger approached him. The man thanked him for his service and then asked if he could pray for his safety. I couldn’t help but tear up watching this simple but beautiful act of kindness unfold during my 16-hour cross-country flight. It’s moments like these that remind me how amazing Americans can be. So beautiful.
I hope this photo reaches the man in uniform to show him how many people are keeping him in their thoughts and prayers, wishing him safe travels.
