This morning, a Swatara police officer was called to the Capital Diner. An elderly man couldn’t pay for his breakfast because his card was declined. He panicked and even called the police because he didn’t know what to do. The restaurant gave him some space to figure it out, but he was still stuck.
Officer Anthony Glass went up to the counter, took out his own credit card, and paid for the man’s meal. The man asked for his phone number so he could pay him back, but the officer kindly refused. This kind act deserves to be recognized.
