This morning, on my way to work, I witnessed a scene that touched me deeply. On a bench worn by the weather, a little boy in a coat too big for him stopped net when he noticed a cat sitting quietly. He slowly approached, as if the animal was a fragile treasure not to be frightened.
Then, without hesitation, he offered her a kiss on the head. Not sudden or forced, but a pure gesture, filled with sincere and spontaneous love. The cat didn’t move, it seemed to understand that it was in good hands.
In a world that’s always moving too fast, where people pass by without even looking around, this moment reminded me that love and tenderness exist everywhere, often where you least expect them. This little boy had nothing to offer but a moment of tenderness, and it was already everything this cat needed.
