These Police Officers Went Above and Beyond!
Officer Troy Smith and Officer Ryan Vogel from Denver answered a call to check on a family in need. When they arrived, they met a man, his wife, and their 6-year-old daughter.
The man told them he was going through a very hard time and couldn’t afford to stay in Denver. He said they were leaving the city the next day but had nowhere to sleep for the night. Since they weren’t from Denver, they didn’t qualify for a hotel voucher.
Not wanting the little girl to sleep on the streets, the officers took the family to a hotel to ask if they could stay for free. But the hotel staff said they couldn’t give a free room—so the officers paid for it themselves!
